NEW
2009 Victorian Recreational Fishing
Regulations |

The new
fishing regulations came into effect in
March 2009. There are a few changes that
you need to be familiar with so get
yourself a copy of the new 2009/10
Victorian Recreational Fishing Guide
available at all tackle shops or go
directly to the Vic Fisheries
website. |

South
Australian 2009 Fisheries Regulation changes |
|
|
|
Murray cod - reduced catch
limits
New Murray cod catch limits
for recreational fishers are now in place. Note that
the closed season for Murray cod will now start on 1
August 2008, instead of 1 September. Details
about catch limits and legal lengths and
closed seasons. |
|

|
Murray Cod Season closes for the whole of
2009 |
|
A temporary closed season for
Murray cod will come into effect from
January 1, 2009 and continue until July 31
when the existing seasonal closure (August 1
to December 31) comes into effect.
These new arrangements effectively close the
Murray cod fishery to all fishing activity
for all of 2009.
